Kedarnath is one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimage sites, home to the ancient Kedarnath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated at 3,553 metres in the Rudraprayag district, it is part of the sacred Char Dham yatra and one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
